Homemade Taco Seasoning

     Most store-bought taco seasonings are packed with sodium, added sugar, fat, and preservatives. With this recipe, you can easily make your own so that you can enjoy your tacos (or taco soup) while keeping your heart healthy. All you have to do is mix the ingredients in a small mason jar or other container of choice and you're good to go!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/2 TBSP salt
  • 1 TBSP cumin
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 TBSP paprika
  • 1/2 TBSP garlic powder
  • 2 TBSP onion powder
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a small mason jar.
